Fractions
Mixed Fractions
A mixed fraction is a fraction that has one or more whole numbers and a fraction. An example of this would be 1 and a ½.
Improper Fractions
An improper fraction is a fraction when the numerator is bigger than the denominator. Example: 7/5, this should be 1 and ⅖ but since it’s improper it’s 7/5.
Equivalent Fractions
An equivalent fraction is a fraction that is the same as another fraction. A simple example of this is ½ = 2/4.
